As is the case in much of southern India, the best time to visit is in winter (October-March) when the temperature ranges from a pleasant 56 °F to 84° F. The days are bright and sunny and the rains tend to stay away.
Summer (April- July) on the other hand can be a little challenging with the mercury rising to 104° F. The monsoon strikes in July-September and the heavens gush a lot of rain.
