Frequently Asked Questions

Yes. You can go solo by buying an airline ticket or taking local jeeps. You can get to Ladakh by road from Delhi by taking two popular routes called the Srinagar and Manali route.

DELHI – JAMMU – SRINAGAR – SONMARG – KARGIL – LEH

DELHI – CHANDIGARH – MANAL – KEYLONG – SARCHU – LEH

We recommend that you spend a minimum of 5 to 7 days in the region and the first day should ideally be used to acclimatize to the high altitudes and lower oxygen levels.

The whole point of a holiday in Ladakh is to escape the dizzying buzz of everyday urban life and retreat into a primitive kind of tranquillity and spiritual immersion amidst a landscape of nature ideal for meditation and finding meaning in the little things of life.

The best time to visit Ladakh is during the summer, from April to July when the temperature is quite moderate 12-25 degree Celsius.

Winters tend to get quite chilly and the mercury can drop below zero with bone-chilling winds sweeping across the region.

The road from Manali to Leh often shuts down on account of heavy rainfall from October to May. You are better off avoiding travel to LEH during this time of the year.
