Visit Jaipur Observatory
Comprising 19 astronomical instruments that tracked the movement of the heavenly bodies, the Jantar Mantar Astronomical Observatory features the world’s largest stone Sundial.
It was built in 1734 by the astronomy-aficionado king of Jaipur, Maharaja Swai Jai Singh II. Located near the City Palace and Hawa Mahal, Jantar Mantar attracts thousands of tourists and enthusiasts of astronomy.

35 km from the city center in Agra lies the ancient city of Fatehpur Sikri which was founded by the Mughal Emperor Akbar the Great and later abandoned in favor of Agra and Delhi.

Visit the Abhaneri Stewells
The Chand Baori at Abhaneri village which dates back to the 8th century AD is one of the finest examples of the water reservoirs built by the Maharajas in the arid regions of Rajasthan.
With 3500 steps to the bottom of the well it also housed the summer resting chambers of the Royalty to escape from the scorching heat of the India summers.
It is also a perfect stop to break the journey between Agra and Jaipur.
