Payment Policy

1. INTRODUCTION

Luxury India Tours (LIT) endeavor to give you a world-class travel and hospitality experience that surpasses your expectations. Our dedicated team of expert travel advisors, consultants, guides, and other allied service providers work day and night to ensure that your trip in India sails smooth and flawless.

 We do, however, understand that there might be circumstance where you might want to cancel your bookings or have a last-minute change-of-plans about your travel plans.

 This policy entails the terms and conditions that deal with such circumstances.

Our Cancellation and Refund Policy deals with cases of refund, cancellations and other similar requests.

Note: For ease of reference, the terms “we” “us” “our” and “the company” refers to Luxury India Tour or LIT, whereas, “you” “your” refers to the customers/clients who purchase our products and services.

2. FOREIGN EXCHANGE CONVERSION

 Please note that there might be slight variations between the exchange rates we quote and the rate that are shown on internet, Reserve Bank of India and other exchange rate online portals and resources. This is due to factors like daily currency volatility, bank commissions on exchange services, difference in reference rate and actual trade rate etc,.

3. PAYMENT TERMS

3.1        If you want to avail our service, we request that you pay an upfront advance payment of 500 Dollars/Euros/GBP per person or INR 35,000 once the travel plan is confirmed. We will start executing your travel plans after the advance payment is made.

3.2 The balance amount shall be paid after completion of your booking, after we have sent you your flight/train/travel tickets, hotel bookings/vouchers etc.

4. PAYMENT METHODS

4.1        We accept all kinds of Visa and Mastercard. Payment through these cards can be made directly via our website through a secure third-party payment gateway. Any transaction fee charged by the bank will be billed to your invoice.

4.2. You can also pay us through bank transfer. Bank charges will be borne by you and must be added in the final payment you make through the bank to our bank account.

Another way you can pay us is through TransferWise. Any additional fee or charges levied by Transferwise will be borne by you.

5. CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY

5.1. We understand that certain unforeseen circumstance can compel you to back out of your trip. We, therefore, attempt to be as fair as possible with our cancellation and refund policies.

5.2. Please note that amounts paid to the hotels in terms of bookings for accommodation are subject to the cancellation and refund policy of the said hotel. You will get the refunded amount returned by the bank in full.

5.3. Likewise refunds of the airfare are subject to the refund and cancellation policies of the airline and you will get the refunded amount received from the airline concerned.

5.4 Similarly, train travel refunds are subject to the refund and cancellations policies of the respective train sercice.

5.5 The same principle applies to car services as well. If you have paid for a car service independently, we will do our best to get you the refund.

5.6. If you have paid for attractions/activities and other bespoke arrangement through our company, we will do our best to give you back either the entire amount or the best possible amount we can offer.

5.7 Please note that goods and service taxes deducted from you by the government authorities are non-refundable.

5.8 Consultation Fee is non-refundable.

5.9 Please be aware that airlines, railways, car hiring services and hotels can take up to two to three weeks to process refunds and cancellations. You are, therefore, expected to wait and be patient until we receive the said refunds. You will be refunded as soon as we receive this amount from the said sources.

5.10 In case of cancellation the refund amount will be processed to the customer’s Bank/Credit Card account in 10 working days. 

 6. CHANGES TO PAYMENT TERMS, CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY

LIT reserves the right to change, alter or update the above-stated Payment, Cancellation and Refund Policy at its sole discretion.

Any such development will be posted to your website and you will get an email notifying you of the changes.
