November  is one of the best months to visit India. The month sees bright sunshine, pleasant temperatures, and dry weather, making it delightful to be outdoors to explore this amazing country.

It is also one of the rare months where you can visit just about anywhere in India and still find perfect weather.

The average temperature across the country is a pleasant 74 °F (23 °C), with a nighttime average of 59 °F (15 °C) and a peak of 82 °F (28 °C) during the day time.

To add to the pleasant weather, it is also festivals and carnivals galore in India during the month with the marquee event being the Festival of Lights “Diwali” which usually falls in November every alternate year. 

Other important festivals that draw a large number of tourists are the Pushkar Camel Festival (Rajasthan), Hampi Festival (Karnataka), Guru Nanak Jayanti (birth anniversary of the founder of the Sikh faith), and the Bhai Dooj Festival (that follows Diwali).
