Udaipur | Arrival and Start of Tour
Your tour will begin in the capital of Mewar region, Udaipur — the “City of Lakes.”
On arrival at the airport, the staff of Resplendent Travel will receive you warmly and transport you to your accommodation.

Udaipur | “Royal Charm of the Kingdom of Mewar”
The “City of Lakes” Udaipur is to India what Venice is to Italy.
The city is nestled in a series of lakes that are connected through a network of canals, bridges, and waterways—hence the moniker “Venice of East.”
Udaipur was once the glorious heart of the Kingdom of Mewar of the fearsome old- Rajputana (Mewari) warriors, known for their Spartan ethos and charm. The city is also famous for its stunning lakes, palaces, Havelis, and forts.
Things you’ll enjoy on days 2 and 3 in Udaipur:

Chanoudgarh | Rural Delights of Rajasthan
Your next destination Chanoud (2.5 hours drive) is a small rural outback known for its Rajasthan country charm and rustic beauty.
You will stay at the Chanoud Garh heritage hotel housed in an 18th-century fort, still run and maintained by the descendants of Thakur Anoop Singh Ji.
It is a great place to enjoy rural life and unwind. Walks in the village and the countryside in Chanoud are a pure joy.

Jodhpur | “Blue City”
After Chanoudhgarh, the Blue City of Jodhpur (2-hour drive) will be your next destination.
Your accommodation will be at the iconic Umaid Bhawan Palace —one of India’s greatest heritage hotels. Built in 1929 this Palace is often considered the “last of India’s great Princely Palaces.”
The 15th-century Mehrangarh Fort is one of the city’s greatest attractions. Other attractions include the centuries-old Ghanta Ghar (Clock Tower) Market, Jaswant Thadaa Palace Museum, Toorji ka Jhalra Bavdi (Stepwell), and Rao Jodha Desert Rock Park.
