Every year in summer something magical happens in the Valley of Flowers National Park in Uttarakhand. Tucked away in the remote Chamoli Valley of Uttarakhand at a height of 3,353 meters above sea level, a sprouting of rare alpine blowers takes place as the snow melts in the region.
The event is one of India’s most enchanting natural phenomena —truly a sight to behold. 520 species of higher plants (angiosperms, gymnosperms, and pteridophytes) have been documented in this valley. In addition, exotic animals like snow leopards, Himalayan Black Bear, Red Fox, Himalayan Weasel, and musk deer can also be found here.
The only way to see this miracle? Lots of hiking!
Our “Valley of Flower Tour” takes you on a guided trek to witness the magic of the Valley of Flowers with a stopover route at Haridwar, a holy destination for Hindus, famed for the legendary Kumbh Mela (festival), ancient temples, and holy river embankments.
