Ladakh is popularly known as “Little Tibet” due to the influence of the Buddhist Tibetan faith and culture. You’ll find elegant traditional Buddhist Gompas (monasteries) everywhere you go. It is also known as the “Land of Mountain Passes.” Some of the world’s highest motorable passes are located in Ladakh, making it a popular destination with jeeping and off-roading enthusiasts.
Our “Spituk Trek – Ladakh Tour” takes you on a raw and rugged adventure to the breathtaking landscape of Spituk, Zingchen, Rumbak, and Stok La. The trek is a big favorite with nature and trekking enthusiasts. Along the way, you’ll come across magical valleys, sprawling cold deserts, towering peaks, and stunningly beautiful landscapes.

Delhi | Arrival and Start of Tour
Upon arrival at the international airport in New Delhi, our representative will receive you warmly, and transport you to your accommodation.

Leh | Getting the Hang of Things
On day 2, flight to Leh, the capital of Ladakh (flight time 1 hour 30 min).
Leh is located at an average height of 3,524 meters (11, 562 ft). You’ll there need a day to get acclimatized to the weather and thin oxygen.

Leh | Exploring the Capital of Ladakh
Full-day heritage tour of key cultural and historical landmarks of Ladakh. These include the Shanti Stupa, Leh Palace, Hall of Fame, Thiksey Monastery, Leh Main Market, and Namgyal Tsemo Tower.

Zingchen | From Spituk to Zingchen
Begin your trek through the Hemis National Park at Spituk just outside of the capital (20 min drive). Before you commence your trek, you will pay a visit to the historical Gompa at Spituk.
The Trek from Spituk to Zinghchen will take an estimated 5 hours (15 km/9 miles). The Indus River meanders along your route.
Note: You can also cover this lap of the journey by car.

Campsite | Rumbak – Stok La – Camp Site
After spending the night at your camp in Zingchen, set out for the idyllic village of Rumbak (Trek time 2-3 hours/ distance 6 km/4 miles. Elevation Gain 550m).
After lunch at Rumbak, the next lap of the trek is towards Stok La. Bear in mind that the trek will gradually get steeper and harder from here onwards.
Estimated trek time: 7-8 hours. Distance 16 km/10 miles/ Elevation gain +995m).

Leh | Camp Site – Stok - Leh
After spending the night at the site in Stok, you will drive back to Leh in the morning. Drive time is around 30 min (distance 20km/ 12).
