The stunning Nubra Valley —a paradise for hikers—is located in the Ladakh Autonomous Region (120km/74m north of the capital Leh). The only way to get to the valley is over the legendary Khardung La Pass (one of the highest motorable passes in the world).
Also known as Dumra (which means the Valley of Flowers), the Nubra Valley is nourished by two tributaries of the Indus—the Shyok and Nubra rivers.
Our “Nubra Valley Trek” takes you on an epic 10-day adventure through the valley, winding back the clock to the ancient Silk Roads era, when this route was used for trade between Central Asia and Tibet/Ladakh.
Note: Foreign visitors require a “Protected Area Permit” whereas Indians require an “Inner Line Permit” to visit the region. Don’t worry, we’ll take care of it for you.
