It is often compared to Venice, and is referred to as the “Venice of the East.”

Arrival in Udaipur Airport | Transfer to Hotel
On arrival at the Maharana Pratap International Airport (UDR) at Udaipur, you will be received warmly by a representative of LIT and transported to your hotel.
After you’ve rested, you’ll enjoy a romantic sunset experience in the stunningly beautiful Lake Pichola. With the beautiful Aravalli hills basking in the golden twilight, the landscape of the city with its chic palaces and royal architecture is a sight to behold.

Sightseeing in Udaipur | Exploring the Venice of India
Embark on an epic Udaipur city tour that will include:
– City Palace: Residence of the Maharana of Udaipur and fine exhibit of Indo-Saracenic architecture.
– Jagdish Temple: In continuous worship since 1651 AD, it is the holiest of all temples in Udaipur, and a key landmark with its 79-feet-high white marble figure.
– Saheliyon Ki Bari (Garden of the Queen’s Handmaidens): 18th-century garden with fountains, lotus pools, and elephant sculptures built for the entertainment of the Queen and her handmaidens.
– Monsoon Palace: Also known as Sajjan Garh Palace, its hilltop location gives you unhindered views of the Mewar valley. Built in the 1870s, it was the residence of the then Maharana it is named after.

Day Excursion to Nagda & Ekligji Temples
Having explored cultural and architectural landmarks, you will seek serenity and peace the next day at the Nagda (Sahasru Bahu Temples) and Ekligji Temples (30 min drive/ 20 km/ 12 miles).
The 15th-century Eklingji Temple complex is located just outside of Udaipur and is dedicated to the ruling god of the Kingdom of Mewar.
The temples at Nagda were built in the 10th century and are dedicated to Lord Vishnu.
