Perched at an average height of 10,000 ft ( over 3,000 meters) above sea level, Spiti Valley has historically been a bridge between India and the Tibetan plateau. The word “Spiti” in fact means “the middle land.”
This remote valley of Himachal Pradesh is surrounded by snow-clad mountains, has several rivers and tributaries meandering through it, and much of it is a massive cold desert that is a visual spectacle to behold. All of this makes an otherworldly backdrop for an epic hiking adventure.
The unique centuries-old Tibetan culture of the region adds further allure to your travel experience with villages along the way offering warm hospitality to visitors.
Our “Spiti Valley Adventure” takes you on a 14-day adventure to this mesmerizing part of India that’s surrounded by Tibet and Ladakh, and the towering mountains of the Higher Himalayas.
