With 18 royal suites and 65 luxurious rooms, the Taj Lake Palace is a splendid exhibit of the fusion of the Marwari Rajput style of architecture with the Indo-Saracenic influence of the Mughal Empire. The white marble used to construct this glowing palace retreat is the same as the one used in the Taj Mahal.

The Taj Lake Palace shot to fame in the 1980s after it was featured as the secret lair of the glamorous Bond Girl in the superhit James Bond Movie “Octopussy.” Since then it has enjoyed a cult status with globetrotting high-end travellers who visit this part of Rajasthan to enjoy its cultural immersions.
